PEIKKO STARTS IN TURKEY DURING 2009
In 2009 Peikko has started its operations as of January 2009. Our products offer great benefits for the Turkish precast industry, improving its competitiveness against in-situ construction methods. Peikko is working in this field in co-operation with engineering and design company STATICA. Our activities are helped by the fact that Peikko conducted an extensive seismic study on its products with Eucentre in Pavia, Italy, during 2007-2008.
Peikko Group has finalized the process of establishing a local limited liability company, “Peikko Yapi Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Tic. Ltd Sti”, in Istanbul, and is currently looking for;
TECHNICAL MANAGER (CODE: TM)
Responsibilities:
Building strong relations with key clients, particularly engineering offices and design teams of construction/precast companies.
Being accountable for engineering support, product approvals and technical documentation of the products.
Reporting to General Manager.
Requirements:
Strong background in the concrete construction market with experience in design engineering
University degree: BA-level in construction/structural engineering
Excellent Turkish and English
Proficiency in Autocad, MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in 3D software such as Tekla considered as a benefit
Personal Characteristics:
Strong technical knowhow
Interest in developing as a specialist in concrete connections
Meticulous and result-driven
Proven perseverant professional
Male candidates must have completed their military service
SALES MANAGER (CODE: SM)
Responsibilities:
Building strong relations with key clients, e.g. construction companies, element factories and engineering firms.
Being accountable for field sales activity. Reacting rapidly to customers’ inquiries.
Managing communication between all parties involved in designing, importing, and administrating orders.
Reporting to General Manager of Peikko Turkey.
Requirements:
Strong background in concrete construction market
Experience as project manager or technical sales manager
Preferably university degree: BA in civil/construction/structural engineering and an understanding of corporate issues
Excellent Turkish and English
Proficiency in MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Personal Characteristics:
Strong willingness to interact with customers and sell
Ability to create high-trust relationships with internal and external clients
Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive corporate information in a confidential manner
Eager to sell, with a competitive mind
Motivation to develop the company and its business volume in Turkey
